I love that the same book can evoke different reactions at different times–even in the eyes of a single reader. What was boring in High School is fascinating a decade out of college. You don't hear about that upward trend as much as its inverse: the dreaded "loved it but it didn't age well."

I agree! Tried to read this book 3 times before Moby Dick Summer. Last year was the first time I enjoyed it!
