The scene where Ahab riles everyone into a fever and shares that unholy draught with them is so cinematic and so chilling! It's really the first time we hear more than a line or two from Ahab, and it's clear that he's completely cracked. I've not seen the movies, either, but I bet this scene is spectacular!
