I always get such a kick out of the chowder scene in chapter 15. I'm a big fan of soup myself, and every time I read this scene, I want a big bowl of chowder. I like to think that Ishmael and Queequeg spent a good part of the evening sneaking back to the kitchen and calling for extra servings until they were stuffed silly.
Also, did anyone catch the line about the cow wearing fish head shoes?
